“The Rescue Team” is comic puppet film series, based on original scripts by the Latvian artist and writer Maris Putnins.
Three young men, – Bembelate, Seelink and Poterick are dismissed from their job in the Opera after a pretty mess they make on the stage. Being very responsive and vigorous, they rescue a naughty boy, who nearly falls into the city canal. With this successful venture he three gentlemen turn a new leaf in their lives and organize a Rescue team.
Since then they rescue everybody and everything, that needs to be rescued. Sometimes after their great attempts and activities there remain nothing to be rescued…
