Documentarians Ivars Seleckis and Talivaldis Margevics return to the tiny suburban Crossroad Street where they made their famous films The Crossroad Street (1988) and New Times at Crossroad Street (1999). This film follows the joys and woes of street’s small community of peculiar inhabitants – among them gravestone merchant and preacher Aldis, determined single mother Daiga, her wealthy brother Uldis, some street kids, an older couple in love — in the times of global economic recession. Moving and entertaining portrait of common people in trying times, the film can be watched as a part of the documentary cycle or independently.
