Three young men – Bembelate, Seelink and Poterick – are dismissed from their job at the Opera after they create quite a mess on the stage during the evening performance. Being very responsive and vigorous, they rescue a naughty boy, who nearly falls into the city canal. With this successful venture he three gentlemen turn a new leaf in their lives and organize a Rescue team. And ever since they rescue everybody and everything that needs to be rescued. Sometimes after their heartfelt attempts there is nothing left to be rescued…
